Denetts 30th B-Day

For Denetts birthday we all were trying to think of something extra special to do for her since she was turning 30,after much deliberation we came up with the idea to surprise her and rent a hummer limo and go out on the town. I was in charge of pulling off the surprise, so I called her up and asked her if she wanted to go shopping, I said the mall that way hopefully she would get ready, since she's been so sick pregnant she doesn't always get totally ready, but she still looks good.I just know that she would want to be fixed up for a limo ride! So we all meet at the park then drove to her house everyone was waiting out front with posters, so I knock on the door to get her and she's not ready yet so Russ grabs the video camera and goes out the garage and tells me to go out the front with her, sound simple right? NO, she insists on driving cause she has free gas, and has to get her purse out of her car in the garage, she's looking for Russ to say good bye but can't find him, I said lets just go, so she goes out in the garage to get her purse and the garage is open about 2 feet and she can hear Russ talking, then she sees about 12 pairs of feet standing out there and she looks at me and says "what is going on?" I said "I don't know just go out there an I gave her a little push." SURPRISE!!!!! she was so shocked, after her kids climbed around in the limo we headed for the "Welcome to Las Vegas sign" 

After we took pictures at the sign we headed down the strip.We all took turns screaming and hanging out of the sun roof, we had so much fun, hard to believe we weren't even drunk.
Here we are at Ceasars Palace to go eat at Cheese Cake Factory, we got one last picture in front of the limo, it was .so much fun.

Kelly brought the tiara and Marci made the banner. I love Denett she is one of my best friends, she is worth all the stress that went into planning the night.

Pizza and Popcicles

Violet loves pizza and popcicles, but who doesn't?

If it looks like my kids just woke up,aren't dressed, and are eating popcicles, it's because they did and are. Violet thinks she is just one of the big kids.

violets 1st birthday

I can't believe my baby is 1 !!!! Time goes by so quick. Violet

 is for sure the center of attention in our home, my kids just adore her, they love getting her to say their names. She is very talkative she says baby, dog, mom, dad, Rew (Krew), Jade, baba (bottle), ball, eat and much more. Joy is the perfect middle name for her, she is such a happy baby and has the cutiest little personality.

Violet got a little bit shy when we sang to her it was funny to see her act like that. Keeping her head band on was a consistent battle!!! But I didn't give up!

Violet LOVES baby dolls she just kept saying baby over and over.

Nightmare Before Christmas

The Sanfts had a rockin' christmas party, the theme was nightmare before christmas, we were supposed to dress up like the movie characters, basically anything black and white, but Jared went as Kiss, it kind of goes with the theme right? 

Here is Jared getting ready, he took forever being the perfectionist that he is.

      

Karas parents worked the bar, the guys were so in to taking shots, not hard liquor, but they were spicy shots made of tabasco sauce and other hot stuff. Crazy!!!! I didn't go near them.

Ray and Jared were non stop, everyone was chanting and cheering them on, I think they had 8 shots each, they are brave or maybe crazy is the word.

After eating and taking shots we played games, here is Kelly and Erik, they had to eat some crackers then chew gum , they won, they beat out 3 other couples.

Kara and Mike throw the best parties, it's what they are known for. After the games as couples we learned a tango dance, they actually had two dance instructors there teaching us, then as sets of three we competed, it was so much fun! 

What the SNOW!!!!

Can you believe we are in Vegas? This is crazy my kids had a blast, they loved the snow , the night it snowed Krew and Jade stayed up really late just playing in the back yard building a snow man and throwing snow balls.

Here is what we woke up to, it is so pretty out. However I must say I'm so glad we don' t live in the snow cause everyday of your kids tromping snow in and out of your house , and all of the outfit changes would be awful, but for once every 5 years I can handle that.
   Jade, Sydney, and Sevin played all morning in the snow.

Jade loves to match Violet. When she wakes up in the morning she says" What's Violet wearing today mom so I can match?" I love my girls and can't imagine not having them.

student of the month

Krew recently got student of the month for academics, he was so proud of himself. The school had an awards ceremony for all the kids, each class has a student of the month for academics and citizenship. At lunch all the kids got to eat pizza with the principal he was excited. I just love Krew so much he really is such a good kid, and so kind hearted.
